Medical Director, Dr. Chris Tashjian, Honored with National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award

RIVER FALLS, Wis. — On April 25, 2026, Dr. Chris Tashjian was officially awarded the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) Outstanding Eagle Scout Award. This prestigious national recognition is reserved exclusively for Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated a lifetime of exceptional service, making significant contributions both to the Scouting program and to their professional communities.

Dr. Tashjian’s dedication to the organization spans six decades, marking 60 years of active involvement in the Boy Scouts. For 39 of those years, he has served concurrently as a dedicated physician and a proud Eagle Scout, blending his passion for medicine with the core values of scouting leadership.

His record of service is highly distinguished, with contributions that reach local, national, and international Scouting initiatives. Beyond his uniform, Dr. Tashjian is a vital pillar of the regional healthcare community. His local impact includes extensive board leadership and ongoing charitable work as the Medical Director for the Free Clinic. On a global scale, his service extends to international humanitarian outreach, including multiple medical mission trips to Armenia and extensive partnership work with the MATTER charity.

The community – in particular the Free Clinic – extends its deepest gratitude and congratulations to Dr. Tashjian for this well-deserved national honor and for his lifetime commitment to improving the lives of others.
